PFC Associates, a joint venture of Providence Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center, initiated a unique privatization project with the government of the District of Columbia. The Police & Fire Clinic provides occupational and preventive medical services to the District’s more than 5,000 police officers, fire fighters, US Park Police officers and U.S. Secret Service agents.
