In March 2006 Beverly Enterprises, Inc. ceased to operate as Beverly Healthcare. It was acquired by Golden Living resulting in those facilities and services formerly operated by BEI and its subsidiaries now being operated by members of the Golden Living family of companies.
ImageWorld was formed to support a corporate move to divest itself of facilities in specific states. ImageWorld stood up 7 scanning teams with over 55 highspeed scanners in 5 states to support the conversion effort. Over 55,000,000 medical records were scanned.
